From your dashboard, navigate to Promotions. Click Create. The promotion form has two tabs: Details and Products.

Tab 1 — Details

This tab is where you configure the mechanics of the promotion.

Code

The voucher code a buyer enters at checkout to redeem the discount. Choose something short and memorable — SAVE10, LAUNCH20, CLEARANCE. Avoid codes with ambiguous characters like 0 and O, or 1 and I. The buyer types this manually.

Status

Draft means the promotion exists in your dashboard but is not yet active. Active means it can be used immediately. Set to Draft while you are building it, switch to Active when you are ready to launch.

Type

Two options: Percentage or Fixed Amount. Percentage takes a percentage off the order subtotal — for example, 10% off. Fixed Amount deducts a specific ringgit value — for example, RM5 off. Percentage promotions scale with order size. Fixed Amount promotions give buyers a predictable saving.

Amount

For Percentage: the percentage to deduct (enter 10 for 10%). For Fixed Amount: the ringgit value to deduct (enter 5.00 for RM5 off).

Minimum Spend
Optional. The minimum order subtotal required before the promotion code can be applied. Use this to prevent the promotion being used on your lowest-margin items. Example: set RM50 minimum spend on a 10% promotion to ensure the buyer is purchasing meaningfully before the discount applies.
Maximum Cap

Optional. Only available for Percentage promotions. Sets the maximum ringgit amount the discount can reach, regardless of order size. Example: 10% off with a RM20 cap means a buyer spending RM500 gets RM20 off, not RM50. Protects your margin on large orders.

Usage Limit

Optional. The maximum number of times this promotion code can be redeemed across all buyers. Leave blank for unlimited usage. Set a number if you are running a limited offer — for example, first 50 buyers only.

Start Date / End Date

Optional. The date range during which the promotion is active. If you leave these blank, the promotion runs from activation until you manually deactivate it. Set dates if you are running a time-limited campaign and want it to stop automatically.

Tab 2 — Products

This tab controls which products the promotion applies to.

The toggle at the top reads: 'Yes, all products are applicable for this promotion.' Turn this on to apply the promotion across your entire catalogue. Leave it off to select specific products from the list below.

For most promotions, targeting specific products is the better choice — it gives you control over which items are discounted and protects your full-margin listings from being affected.

Once your promotion is created, share the code directly — on WhatsApp, in your shop description, or through Driwego's campaign channels if applicable. A promotion code that nobody knows exists does not convert.
